On the occasion of the FILMFEST MÜNCHEN, the SAMMLUNG GOETZ, in collaboration with the Deutsches Theatermuseum, presents films by artists that explore aesthetic strategies of cinema. Through innovative techniques and experimental narrative forms, the showcased works offer a multifaceted reflection on the medium of film. To experience the full range of artistic perspectives, a comprehensive, changing programme will be assembled and screened in a specially designed cinema on the upper floor of the Deutsches Theatermuseum. A reading lounge in the foyer invites visitors to learn more about the artistic positions presented.
